nothing new :(

sorry this isnt a new topic. i've just ordered a 500GB western digital hdd for my PS3, so now i've changed my mind about what to do with the formatting options. i was going to allot 10GB to the other os, but my game saves have only took up a fraction of an 8GB SD micro card. i have a 2.5 inch external enclosure that i could put my new hdd in, but even then, should i use it for the other os or do i use it for the ps3 system, i wont need it for both. at fist i was going to put 100GB on the ps3 and 400GB on the other os, but i found out that wasnt possible. i thought that you must of been able to use all of the rest of the memory for anything you wanted and that the 10GB of alotted memory was only for instalation. probably sounds stupid. anyway, if anyone has done the trial and error thing and knows anything to make this easier please write. to be honest anything said will be help, and i havent asked about everything i dont know, which is everything. thanks.
