According to pup and yum, libdhcp6client-1.0.so.2 was available and ready to update. But be careful here since, the dependencies on this package are incorrectly specified, some packages depend on the predecessor libdhcp6client-0.10.so.0 that this upgrade (unfortunately) replaces.
For example
[root@localhost lib]# ldd `which nash`
...
libdhcp6client-0.10.so.0 => not found
Yum thinks that libdhcp6client has many dependencies:
[root@localhost lib]# yum remove libdhcp6client.ppc
...

In my system only /sbin/grubby and /sbin/nash directly reference libdhcp6client, but i doubt that an update from 0.1 to 1.0 would work transparently (if sym linked). So I down loaded the old package and installed it using --oldpackage.
Oh how I miss installp (AIX) wihch had the moxie to recognize library levels. C'est la vie.
