Yellow Dog, Ubunut 9.10 and 9.04

whow can I fix it,

I know how to boot back into game mode

but I want to install Linux

I have my doubts about this being "the solution" but the same error is mentioned here:

With the suggestion of formatting your drive (again?) to fix it.
