network in win98 in qemu SOS

Please someone can help,
I am using
qemu -no-acpi -net nic,model=ne2k_isa -net user -cdrom /dev/dvd win98.img
to bring up the Win98 and the NE2000 Compatible network card. But the IE and the Network Neighborhood doesn't seem to pick up the NE2000 and work.
Anything I can do?
