today I tried to install YDL 6.2 to my ps3, I got to the point where I selected a package,my location, created a password after that the installation started and it gave this error:

cannot retrieve conman-0.1.9.2-8.ppc.rpm

BTW I dowloaded yellowdog-6.2-ppc-DVD_20090629.iso file from: http://ydl.oregonstate.edu/iso/
and burned it to a dvd w/burnaware free: http://www.burnaware.com/downloads.html

so how can get rid of this error?
do I need to burn the iso file to another dvd?

thank you

You need to:

1. Check the sha1sum on the .iso file you downloaded and confirm it's correct.
2. Burn the DVD with a program such as imgburn (http://www.imgburn.com) and be sure to use the 'Verify after writing' option.

You'll find instructions for this near the bottom of the README post in the PS3 forum.

The process may take a while and depends on the speed of your computer.
