I've tried every thing to boot from disk and nothing works, no way hosa, . Where do I start, what do I do. I'm running Tiger 10.4.11 I created a free space partition, what is wrong that disks don't boot up?

If you downloaded an ISO of YDL, the very first thing you should do is verify your downloaded file with SHA1SUM. SHA1SUM is a checksum utility that generates a unique number for every file it scans. If the contents of the file you downloaded don't match the file on the server, it will generate a different SHA1SUM number - therefore you know you have a bad download.

In the original FTP ISO download folder, there is a file of values:
http://ydl.oregonstate.edu/iso/SHA1SUM
(for example)

The number value is what you should get when you run SHA1SUM on your file.

A quick HOWTO is here:

Cheers,
