Multi-boot, dual drive option for G4 install?

Postby amstel78 » 31 Aug 2010, 18:48

Hello everyone, long time YDL fan here.

I used to have YDL running on G3 Beige towers many years ago; had them configured as file, web, email, and print servers. It's been awhile though since I've done anything with YDL.

I have an Apple G4 MDD tower that's sitting around doing nothing and I'd like to install YDL 6.2 on it.

I'd be grateful if someone could point me to a specific How-To on installing YDL on a mac with two drives. I will install YDL on the master drive, and would like to retain OSX and Mac Classic on the second or slave drive.

Thank you!

If you follow the YDL 6.2 install manual for Apple http://ydl.net/support/installation/ydl ... _guide.pdf it discusses this particular scenario on page 7.
