i am working with a G4.
thank you

I came back and deleted the text that was here.
I am thinking of making it a goal to consolidate instructions.
the existing instructions are good, yet there are some over here and some other there.

Place a price tag some where for the product, if you want money.
Charge $10.00 to watch a video of the real and accurate information to get thru yaboot install configuration for YDL.

A little history here. Originally there were two versions of YDL - a pay version and a free version. Part of what you got with the pay version was dedicated technical support - including help with installations.

Unfortunately, the pay version - and the dedicated support - has been discontinued. :(

At this point - the PowerPC free version is basically provided to the community as a courtesy. Fixstars is concentrating on their x86-64 CUDA solutions for IBM PCs and their Cell/B.E. solution for IBM PowerBlade servers. In my opinion - and I am not an employee of Fixstars - they're not expecting to make any more money off the PowerPC Mac/PS3 edition.

Luckily, you've come to this forum. We're a large family of volunteers, and we have a lot of experience with YDL - in all of its forms. If you post your problems with your installation here in our forum - you'll probably get the help you need.

Unfortunately - I don't have a G4 - I have a PS3 - so I probably won't be able to help you much. But there are G4 owners here who can help you.

Cheers,
Paul

I've only recently started using YDL 6.2 on a PowerMac G4 but will try to help where possible. :)
