sata installation

i am trying to install YDL 3 on a BW g3 and when i go through the install it only lets my install onto a scsi drive thats hooked up to a atto PSC Express card. Im not to good with the linux's GUI and terms buti dont think im able to install on my other sata drives. They are both hooked up to a firmtek host card.if anyone here using AIM my handle is h0rse the sn
