I'm trying to install RealPlayer from http://www.yellowdoglinux.com/support/s ... tall.shtml, but it is not working. I'm stucking at:

bash: ./RealPlayer10GOLD.bin: cannot execute binary file

i'm logged in as root.

anybody knows anything?

two quick answers; one make sure its executable "chmod +x `file`" (i believe is the right command-someone correct me if im wrong) and if it doesnt work then; 2: it was compiled for x86 only and will not work on a ppc machine (apple/mac)-though you could try a hardware emulation prog. like vmware to run it

having a fresh 301 install and being interested too, I followed the link you posted and i found something you may want to give a try : https://player.helixcommunity.org/2004/downloads/

Then you'll find the player in your KDE Menu under "Sound & videos > More sound and videos apps" (or something similar, mine is in french so i don't know exactly...)

Helix player doesn't play Real content, so you'll probably want this package :
