I dont have a dvd rewriter can i transfer the file onto my ps3 using ipod or media sharing and install it?
Does it support wireless keyboard and mouse?
Can you access music and video saved on the ps3 operating system from it?

Not sure about that ... I haven't seen anyone report doing that successfully.

For RF wireless, yes that should work fine. For bluetooth, you'll need a wired USB or RF wireless keyboard mouse for the install -- then you can configure your bluetooth keyboard/mouse after installation.

Can you access music and video saved on the ps3 operating system from it?

You can't access the "Game OS" side at all from Linux, however you can access files stored on FAT32 partitions of memory cards or external USB drives from both sides.
