Yellow Dog Linux

I successfully installed the ydl on my ps3. But the problem I faced was the display. I own a 22" Benq monitor (e2200HD, fullHD). And the ydl screen resolution is set to 1688x964 and the refresh rate to 30hz, and my display flickers. How can i change this screen resolution and the refresh rate.
