Hi folks,

I'm relativly new to linux and all and this site has been really helpfull.

I've been trying to get linux to see my shared drive on my pc on the wired net work. I managed to get wireless to work trhough the help of this site. I can use internet, but I cannot seem to see my shared drive. The shared drive is not FAT, but NTFS. I don't know if that would be a problem, I could change the drive type.

The thing I want is to be able to watch movies from the shared drive on the linux system. I already have the VLC player installed, the only thing I'm missing now is the ability to read the shared drive. Can somebody help? I tried mounting the shared folder through the gnome terminal, but it didn't work.

cheers
