Opening Installed Software

I have created this disk image which shows up in a folder on YDL

[AzimScot@localhost Windows Xp]$ qemu -cdrom xoinstallcd.iso -hda xp.img -m 64M -boot d
qemu: could not open hard disk image 'xpinstallcd.iso'

However when attempting to install windowsxp off my cd which I have burned an image off my pc onto cd-r it doesn't detect it?

Any solutions?

At this point, you're asking the same question on two different threads, which we don't allow in this forum. Since the opening installed software part of this question has been answered, I'm considering this thread closed and locking it from further posts.
