All I want to do is ssh into my ps3 via ydl but when I try to connect it says connection failed port 22 blocked or not open something like that... I'm sure this is a normal thing... Oh btw I have ydl 5.0 and firewall is off

Thx

Are you sure you started the sshd daemon? As root user, what's the output of this command?

service sshd status

You might print the output of this too:

chkconfig --list sshd

How do you start the daemon?

Before I tell you that, you need to answer my previous questions. That's why I asked them.

So - once again:

As root user, what's the output of this command?

service sshd status

I need the output of this too - again as root user:

chkconfig --list sshd

Can you cut and paste what you're getting? Including the command? Both of these should be typed from the Terminal Window. In addition, when you switch to root user, be sure you're using su -l instead of just su .

You'll need to get the chkconfig command working to fix the daemon anyway. :)
