Auto startup Application

Is there a way to auto start an Application on startup into the GUI?
[PS3: Upgraded 60Gb to 500Gb] / YDL 6.1 / XMB 2.70

yes only with fluxbox though, in the file ~/.fluxbox/startup you can add any application you like, if I remember you just have to put & between apps.
I guess there's a startup file for gnome and E17 (somewhere) anyone

60Gb ps3 otheros awol. currently playing:bad company and farcry 2 again (seeing how far I can get using permadeath principle)update: regretfully Warren Clyde was involved in a shootout south of Pala and killed when he was hit by a land rover. RIP Warren
