How do I install KDE4 into my system?

If you are new to YDL and have some more or less basic questions.

How do I install KDE4 into my system?

I'm having trouble updating my kde environment to 4.something-something. Is there an easy way to do this? Preferably using subversion?

No. You would have to build it from source code and install it manually. Most likely, you would have to build and install dependencies from source as well. This might be a rather large undertaking - especially with a Red Hat Enterprise based Linux like YDL.

Your best bet is to Google on KDE 4 and CentOS. YDL is built from the CentOS re-compile of Red Hat Enterprise Linux. Good luck! :D
