How To Get Bluetooth Controller To Work In PS3 Yellow Dog 6?

Hi

I'm able to get the emulator Killer Instinct to load in the SNES9x but my controller doen't work when you game loads nor am I getting any sound from the game. Is there anyone who can tell me what I may be doing wrong and how to correct it I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

if you have ydl 6.2, bluetooth doesn't work. Give it up, plug it in. Nothing more to it or now.

As for the sound, check everything exept for reverse stereo and mute. set sampling rate to 41000hz or higher. Then close snes and open it again. Load the rom and see how you do =]

Thanks but even with the remote connected I'm not able to play the emulator. I've even reloaded the emulator numerous times. Is there something in the emulator I need to set once I launch the application. And where do I go to set those soud settings. I'll be looking for it.

try going into the terminal and type:

yum install joystick

with the controller plugged in. Then try again and see if it works.

OK was able to get to the root to typ the command. It ran fine but and error still came up. I now have sound when I load the KI emulator which is progress but no joystick control. The error I'm getting is "Cannot open/read repomd.xml file for respository: fedora-extras".

I'm assuming that the down was comng from "http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/extras/6/ppc/repdata/repomd.xml: [Errno 14] HTTP 404: Not Found".

Any suggestions from here. I'll really appreciate it.

Are we talking about snes9x-gtk or just snes9x? In snes9x-gtk, if your Sixaxis is not working while plugged in, trying going to Options -> Preferences -> Snes Joypads -> Joystick Options -> Calibrate, and move both sticks as well as pressing all the buttons fully, then go back to the buttons tab to configure it.

Thanks to all who helped me to get the emulator to work properly I really greatly appreciate. One last thing; I running Yellow 6.0.9 in which I heard doesn't support the bluetooth function for the controller. Is there a different version thats supports bluetooth and where can I get that version if available?

yellow dog "6.0.9"? Close to 6.1, you should be able to get it to work somehow. Far as I know, 6.2 doesn't work with bluetooth but should work with the one you have.
