Can't boot OSX

HI there, I installed YDL 3.0 on my iMac perfectly fine, however, now I can't boot osx. I restart the computer and hold down option but it doesn't bring up anything. I don't know if I forgot to add OSX to the boot loader or if there's something else that I should be doing. Anyone have any suggestions?

well, I fixed my own problem. I thought that I was pushing option, but I was pushing command. my fault.
