I am new to this so please have patience. FYI: I recently updated to the latest software update and did a full format.
I have ready many instructions and watched several videos on you tube. I have also downloaded several versions of 6.2 to ensure that i don't have a corrupt copy.
I installed the boot loader succesfully and when I go to Settings > System Settings > Default System > Other OS.... It will as me to restart and I say yes. (yes i partitioned it)
I get the penguin screen(kboot screen) but the problem is that it keeps scrolling and it never gets to the kboot prompt. My keyboard works because i can type things while it is scrolling. If I type game and hit enter it will take me back to the ps3 OS. I haven't found any forums that mention the boot loader not getting to the kboot prompt. anyways... if I hit tab then enter (sometimes) it will configure my tv resolution and take me to the anaconda ydl setup screen. Once i'm there my keyboard stops working and mouse does too. So i can't finish the installation. I have a regular wired usb keyboard and mouse so i don't think that is the issue. is the bootloader supposed to configure my mouse and keyboard for anaconda?
I thought it was just a problem with YDL so i tried to install ubuntu and the same thing happens. KBOOT WILL NOT STOP SCROLLING!!! I can get to the setup screen there also and the keyboard and mouse quits working too!!
Any help is greatly appreciated.
