download YDL for CUDA

Postby zzz2010 » 01 Feb 2011, 05:07

Hi, all,
I downloaded the iso file from link http://ftp.yellowdoglinux.com/pub/ydl/c ... 100720.iso
the size of file is only 387M, and the CD checking during the installation shows the file is broken.

Does anyone know where is the correct link to download YDL for CUDA?

Thanks a lot! :D

Hmmm - that's the standard link:
http://ftp.yellowdoglinux.com/pub/ydl/c ... 100720.iso

But - I'm seeing the same thing you are with IE. However - it appears to be correct with Firefox or Chrome - I would try either of those browsers.

Hi, Paul,
Thanks for the reply, in fact, I tried firefox also, and the size of the iso file becomes 379MB (even smaller). Is it normal? I found a post in this forum said the installation DVD should be about 4GB.

Thanks again.

When I tried Firefox & Chrome, it said the download was approx. 4 gigs. I haven't tried to download it all the way - but it appeared to be pulling them down.

I'll set it up on a machine in the backroom, and see what happens. There may be an issue with the Oregon State servers.

Paul

Hi Paul,

Thanks again, I found this may be the problem of my pc, when I try another linux machine with "wget", everything goes fine.

Yeah - I was just about to suggest there may be an issue with their http server. Wget is good - you might also try this:

ftp://ftp.yellowdoglinux.com/pub/ydl/cu ... 100720.iso

and use their ftp server instead of their http server.
