what eclipse version for Yellowdog linux ppc

Hi I'm using this yellow dog linux + eclipse to develop android apps, or at least that is what I might like, would someone help me and tell me how can I have eclipse 3.7 linux up and running on this machine.
Is a G5 PPC dual @.GHZ and I have this one with Linux Yellowdog 6.2 PPC, so if someone cal help me out I would be very grateful...Thanks.

P.D. : Any eclipe version that I try to run in this machine is not working, also how can I have the Java running up? is there a tutorial for eclipse on yellowdog linux 6.2?

Let's start with this. The Java that ships with YDL is GCJ - which is not very good. You want Sun's Java - but they don't have a PowerPC version. :(

Luckily, IBM has a licensed version for PowerPC. This is the one we use.

NOTE: These are instructions about setting up the Java plugin for Firefox - but you need the base Java setup for this to work.

I don't do active Java development on my PS3 anymore, but I did mess around with it for a while. There's a post I had here about getting Eclipse to work with IBM Java:

That might still work.
