Hi Kent,

First - this board is not an official YDL support forum. This is a volunteer board, with contributions from the general YDL community. Basically - none of us are YDL/Fixstars employees - we're all volunteers here, with various hardware configurations.

That being said, I took a look at what you posted, and I think I know what's going on. The YDL servers no longer contain any versions of YDL earlier than YDL 5.0 or so:

http://ftp.yellowdoglinux.com/pub/ydl/iso/

There are archive servers that contain more of the YDL distribution here:
http://ftp.caliu.cat/pub1/distribucions/yellowdog/iso/

You may need to configure apt-get to point at this repository. Sorry I can't help more. I'm not a big debian user and YDL 5.x/6.x use YUM now.

Cheers,
Paul

Thank you. I appreciate your efforts! The only version that is working currently with my B&W G3 (350 Mhz) is YDL 3.0

I just want to let you know when I did the update it also messed up the evolution email which was actually nice. So I'll recommend anyone that trys that to not. Just do separate updates if you dare.

Hi Kent,

Sorry - had to save my post before it was done. :) I think there's an archive of older YDLs you may be able to use - see above post.

Poking around a little - there are YUM updates here:
http://ftp.caliu.cat/pub1/distribucions ... g/updates/

Cheers,
