Some help burning music to a CD

Postby johnnyfives12 » 09 Oct 2007, 07:19

Hey I'm trying to burn music onto a CD. I need it be an audio CD though that's readable with standard CD players. So basically what I need is something like the function in windows media player that let's burn a playlist of songs onto a CD in the wav format.

Is there anything like that out for ppc linux? Just to be sure you guys have enough information to help me I'll list what I'm using

PS3 with the 5.0.1 Kernel
An external CD/DVD burner I already know this works because I've tested it.

YDL or PPC linux does not support wav format. These are mainly because of legal issues.
YDL does support ogg format(which is open source).

I need them to be playable in a car though. Outside of linux ogg is worthless at least in my opinion.

You can simply download a file converter, and i dont think the music has to be in wav format i always burn music in mp3 format and they play fine in a regular cd player.
