emulation question plz help

im new to linux i want to know how to execute a ps1 emulator and run roms can any1 help im a windows kind of guy

Assuming you are a PS3 user, use the PS1 emulator of the Game OS and your original PS1 discs.

well i dont really know how to use linux so how do i get the emulator to run. i already downloaded it on my pc and unzipped it then transferred it.
and i would be using roms not cds.
