I was currently using YDL 6.0 but switched to ubuntu about 4-5 months ago. (sorry I am an a@* )
I am having pretty good results with it though. However the PSUbuntu forums are especially dead at times. So if you could help me I would be much
obliged.
I am trying to install an HP psc 1315v all-in-one printer. I have installed drivers from here: http://hplip.sourceforge.net/downloads.html .
That seemed to run smoothly enough.
I know the printer and cable are in working order. I have hooked them up on a mac book and a windows system.
When I use command $ lsusb
I get no results. ZERO, not my keyboard, mouse or printer. Looks like this:
- Code: Select all
dogdaynoon@dogdaynoon:~$ lsusb
dogdaynoon@dogdaynoon:~$
OK so I tried this:
- Code: Select all
sudo dmesg | grep usb
This results in this:
- Code: Select all
dogdaynoon@dogdaynoon:~$ sudo dmesg | grep usb

sudo hp-setup
But you guessed it
