Stuck on kboot

im trying to boot up my linux as per usual, but for some reason the screen keeps getting stuck on kboot. this is what it shows me;
sending discover...
sending discover...
sending discover...
don't understand action "leasefail"
N lease, failing
route: resolving
kboot:

ive tried typing "ydl 720p" beside kboot, but it just wont boot up.

It was working fine before and now this is happening? I'd try re-installing the bootloader and see if that helps ... (insert YDL DVD and use "Install OtherOS" from the XMB, remove the DVD, and boot to Other OS)

hmmm, only one problem with that... my blu ray drive is busted

Instead of typing - what happens if you use the TAB key? You should see the options in your /etc/yaboot.conf file. (i.e. ydl 720p). If you don't - that may mean there's bigger issues.

when i hit the TAB key nothing happens... when i hold it down it repeats' kboot: kboot: kboot:...

You could download it from here:

ftp://ftp.oregonstate.edu/pub/ydl/relea ... theros.bld

And put it on a memory card or FAT32 formatted USB drive in this location:

/PS3/otheros/otheros.bld

Then run "Install OtherOS" with the card inserted ...
