I've been using a Western Digital 500Gb external HDD with my PS3, running YDL 6.0. Today, for some reason, I couldn't write on it anymore, only read. I didn't change any of the permissions, it just stooped working properly.
According to the Permissions Menu I should be able to read and write while accessing the HDD with my current username. I was also unable to change the permission status login in as root.
Any suggestions to the best course of action?
EDIT: I tried to reboot before, with no success, but this time I booted the game OS, started YDL again and the external HDD seems to be working correctly now. Computers. Go figure.
