Which wireless USB adaptor can used?

Postby yangdh » 11 Aug 2004, 03:53

I am using yellowdog linux 3.01 for power mac G5. I tried to use DWL-122 by compiling kernel and installing linux-wlan-ng 0.21, but failed. The problem is of the asm-offsets.c, it does not compile.
Could anyone tell me which wireless usb adaptor can be used under my system?

not sure personally; ive always been told the DWL-122 should work; but i believe that it doesnt compile under YDL is cause of the non-stock kernel; Terrasoft adds a lot of patches to thier kernels. You may need to custom compile a kernel from stock sources to get it to work.
Til our paths cross again
