Wireless via the inbuilt network manager

Hey folks,
I use the Inbuilt network manager on YDL to manage my wireless connection and my wireless keeps on dropping out. I use the Inbuilt network manager because i got tired of WICD erroring constantly.
Is there a way to modify the network scripts so that it automatically reconnects after connection loss.
If one of you smart people could have a look at this I would be very grateful
