If "yes",have you seen the difference between the two different download links of YDL for CUDA 6.2.1?
The file name in Enhanced Account download link is "20100715",
http://www.yellowdoglinux.com/cuda/iso/ ... 100715.iso
While the file name in YDL.net download link is "20100720"
http://ftp.yellowdoglinux.com/pub/ydl/c ... 100720.iso
I think there must be lots of differences between the two different editions of YDL.

You could see if the SHA1SUM values match. If they match, it's the same ISO with different names. If they don't match, then there may be differences.

Paul

Hi Everyone!

A very brief reminder that YDL for CUDA (YDL 6.2.1) is, I believe, an x86_Linux release from Fixstars. Check with Fixstars!! Remember that Fixstars announced that YDL 6.2 was the last release supporting PowerPC therefore the packages available with YDL 6.2.1 will probably not function within any PowerPC system using YDL 6.2 and earlier.

One more point, for the sake of being explicit, in the past it was possible to modify yum so that the libraries of various close releases of YDL could be imported into a standard YDL release without affecting the PowerPC installation. Everyone should consider the possibility that because YDL 6.2.1 is radically different in that it is for x_86 Intel and compatibles while YDL 6.2 (and earlier releases of YDL) is only for PowerPC systems, using yum to acquire and install the newer packages could be a really, really bad idea.
