Compile Handbrake 0.9.4

Has anyone compiled / made Handbrake from the new source code (0.9.4). I was wondering if this version of the source would have support for YDL. Has anyone tried older source code (G4 PPC) versions? I really like this program and would love to see it running on my linux box.
