g4 powerbook, 1.33 ghz
ydl 4.0.1, freshly installed and updated
kernel: 2.6.10-1.ydl.1

i was having problems yesterday with this installation - fixed some of the problems by installing kernel-source via yum. now, i'm having problems when i run make all. it goes along flawlessly for a bit, and then ends with this error message:
cp: cannot stat `/lib/modules/2.6.10-1.ydl.1/build/Module.symvers': No such file or directory
make[2]: *** [default] Error 1

i cannot find this Module.symvers anywhere. not sure about recompiling the kernel (which i think is where this is headed). does anyone have any hints...or (even better) suggestions of a wireless usb adapter that is actually supported?

thanks in advance.

I had the same problem (it seems to be a package that YDL doesnt have) I reverted back to the ver. before the latest release (think 25 vs. 26

I installed YDL 5.0.2 in my iBook 500mhz, and I want to make the Dlink DWL-122 work with it. I downloaded the WLAN Linux driver but I cannot compile it! After the first "make all" of the compilation the process complains about a bunch of directories not being there and stuff. I even tried installing the kernel source from the DVD and specify the path but then complains that the headers are ther but not the tree.

How do you make this driver compile??
