Yellow Dog Linux

I just checked this! My YDL system monitor indicates I have only 2 GB of RAM. I have 4 (1 GIG) sticks installed. I know this because i'm counting them without changing hands. Is there some limitation to memory with ydl. I didn't notice any performance issues, so I didn't check till I was playing around.

wow. i found out that the extra 2 gig that i had in the banks are no good. i just replaced them with 2 (256 meg) sicks and system monitor read them perfect. so did free -k in terminal.

I would have never thought the memory was bad wow !
