Yellow Dog Linux

I have a powerbook G4 and would like to install YD on a different/new drive instead of killing my current one in case I don't like/want to stick with YD...

The drive is not initialized and I have no other machine to do it on...

Any keystrokes to do it, or am I just going to have to brake down and get a USB drive enclosure?
