USB does not awake after sleep

Postby nikolisin » 16 Mar 2005, 01:24

I updated on my PowerBook Alu G4 to YDL 4.0.1 with and use kernel 2.6.10 8)

the sleep feature works in general. but after awaking the USB ports don't work any longer. These are the entries in /var/log/message when going into sleep mode - when awaking there is no USB entry.

I too have this problem. One way seem to force remove the USB modules before going into standby, and then loading them upon wake. But that makes the system unstable and is sort of risky. I'm looking around for a solution....

Actually- I just realized if I just unplug my USB mouse before going into standby, when I later wake my iBook and then plug in the mouse, it works fine. :)
