G3 Wallstreet monitor issues

Postby mercury318 » 07 May 2005, 09:44

New to Linux. Had a G3 233mHz wallstreet sitting around and decided to experiment with yellowdog! So I downloaded the ISOs and went to work. When the install screen came up it was wierd. The screen was basically...tiled? a TINY version of the screen in the top left corner and then the exact same thing tiled around it. So I had four mini screen but only one was a full screen. I thought it was just a driver issue so I went ahead with the install. When it came to the video card it had selected the right one. When it came to the monitor I selected G3 Powerbook pre-1999. This did not resolve the issue.
What I see of linux looks great but having a small screen (say less the 640x480?) kind of sucks. Any ideas?
