Aluminum P'book and trackpad

Postby Gipetto » 25 Jul 2005, 07:02

I've looked around and bit and haven't seen a fix. Maybe I've looked in the wrong places.

Is there a workaround for the trackpad issue on Aluminum 2005 powerbooks?

Thanks.

I bought a new Powerbook this summer and kept wondering why there was so little said on the trackpad not working on these newer models.

Apple Touchpad driverhttp://www.popies.net/atp/ works on these and interfaces with the synaptics drivers to let you have more control over them. I see that these drivers were merged into kernel 2.6.14 release candidates.

I know this thread is getting a little old but it popped up several times in google when I was searching and thought some feedback would be nice.

Excellent.
Time to put YDL back on the powerbook.

Thanks a bunch.
