What kind of foot print does YDL leave. I have a old iMac (rev c) and I'm running OSX now. Will running YDL speed me up or save hard drive space?

it really depends on the apps u install, anywhere from less then a 1gb to about 3gb to install everything. And yes if you run a lighter interface (any of the *box window managers) itll be more responsive as resources are being used in the gui
