Yellow Dog Linux

Can anyone help me installing YDL 4.1 on my eMac 1.25. Basiclly when I try it just says that The X server wont load or something. As you can tell im really really new to linux. Really new. I already tried startx. no luck

It usually tells you why or where it logs the errors.
If you could post some information from the logs this would help.

check /ver/log/Xorg.0.log or anythink alike in /var/log and provide some information from the logfile.
