Topic: Updated ppp packages are available. 2. Problem: A bug has been fixed corrects a a problem which hampered interoperability with other PPP implementations. The version of pppd included in Yellow Dog Linux 2.2 incorrectly advertised support for CBCP. If a peer attempted to configure use of this protocol, the LCP negotiation and the connection attempt would fail. (based on Red Hat Advisory) 3. Solution: a) Updating via yup... We suggest that you use the Yellow Dog Update Program (yup) to keep your system up-to-date. The following command(s) will automatically retrieve and install the fixed version of this update onto your system: yup update ppp b) Updating manually...
