Topic: Updated kdebase packages are available. 2. Problem: KDE's artsd daemon does not currently function at 16-bit on the PowerPC architecture. These errata updates change the default artsd behavior to use 8-bit mode which allows sound to function. 3. Solution: a) Updating via yup... We suggest that you use the Yellow Dog Update Program (yup) to keep your system up-to-date. The following command(s) will automatically retrieve and install the fixed version of this update onto your system: yup update kdebase b) Updating manually...
