The version of compat-gcc that comes with Yellow Dog Linux 3.0 is missing a compatibility version of the g77 fortran compiler. Users of g77 that require strict compatibility with a Yellow Dog Linux 2.3 platform are advised to update to the packages listed in this advisory which address the problem. 3.
