There were various issues related to gd.

3. Solution

a) Updating via yum
We suggest that you use the yum program to keep your
system up-to-date. The following command(s) will retrieve
and install the fixed version of this update onto your system:
	yum update

b) Updating manually
rpm -Fvu [filenames]
	ftp://ftp.yellowdoglinux.com/pub/yellowdog/updates/
		yellowdog-4.0/ppc/gd-2.0.21-5.20.1.ppc.rpm
		yellowdog-4.0/ppc/gd-devel-2.0.21-5.20.1.ppc.rpm
		yellowdog-4.0/ppc/gd-progs-2.0.21-5.20.1.ppc.rpm
