Topic: How to install the driver for an Intel 1000 SX NIC
As easy as ...
I have a G4 tower running YDL 2.2 and I wanted to add an Intel 1000 SX NIC. Doing some digging, I found the drivers at Intel and directions. I was thinking the drivers might not work with YDL, but they do! Solution was to download and install a module from Intel and load the module at startup. It works and comes with a number of configuration options. Here is the URL from the Intel website with directions:
