1. Download: netatalk-1.5.3.1-1c.ppc.rpm
   
   
2. As root, from a terminal or shell:

   rpm -Uvh netatalk-1.5.3.1-1c.ppc.rpm [ENTER]

3. As root, from a terminal or shell:

   pico /etc/init.d/atalk [ENTER]

   ... modify "/etc/atalk/config" to "/etc/netatalk/config"
   
   
4. Then:

   pico /etc/netatalk/afpd.conf [ENTER]

   ... uncomment (remove the "#") the line "- -transall -uampath /usr/lib -uamlist"
   
   
5. Restart the service by typing:

   service netatalk restart
